Two-factor authentication mandatory from July 1st: set it up now
From July 1st, two-factor authentication (2FA) via Visma Connect is mandatory
for
everyone logging into Nmbrs. We ask you to set this up in advance, so you're
ready
well in time and don't experience time pressure when it matters.
Important! Have you already set up Visma Connect two-factor
authentication?
Then the system will ask for a verification code when logging into Nmbrs
from April 13th onwards.
No longer have access to your authenticator app? You can request a recovery
code via
this form.
Support will send you a backup code to log in again and reset your 2FA.
Haven't set up 2FA yet? Read the article below to do so before July 1st.

Why Visma Connect?
Nmbrs had its own 2FA system, which will be phased out. As you know, Nmbrs is part of Visma, which means we can build on the security infrastructure of one of Europe's largest software companies. Visma Connect is the login environment that Visma uses broadly and continuously develops. More choice in verification methods (app, SMS, face ID), better support, and after the initial setup, you'll log in with just one tap or your fingerprint.
What's changing?
From July 1st:
- You log in with password + additional verification
- You use Visma Connect for 2FA
- The old Nmbrs 2FA system will no longer work
What stays the same?
- Your username and password
- Your data and settings
- How Nmbrs works
What do I need to do?
Go to home.visma.com and try logging in with the email address and password you've always used to log into Nmbrs. You don't need to create a new account. Does the login work without problems? Then you're all set. Are you stuck because you need to enter a 2FA code you no longer have? Read on.
How do I set up 2FA?
- Go to home.visma.com and log in with your existing email address and password.
- You'll be asked to choose a verification method: an authenticator app (Google, Microsoft, or Visma authenticator), SMS, or face ID. Choose what works best for you.
- At the end, save the recovery code. If you ever lose your phone, this is the only way to log in.
Want to see how it works? Watch the clickable demo below. Click here to open the clickable demo in another tab.
Note: you'll receive an email from Visma during setup (do.not.reply@mail.connect.visma.com). This is correct, communication is sent from there. Also check your spam folder. After the initial setup, you'll log in with just one tap or your fingerprint.
Tip: Set up two methods immediately as a backup (for example, SMS and an authenticator app).
How do I log in after activation?
After setup, you log in with:
- your password
- additional verification via your phone
Frequently asked questions
I already use Nmbrs 2FA. Do I need to do anything?
Yes. We're switching to Visma Connect. The 2FA in Nmbrs will be deactivated. You need to set up 2FA again via Visma Connect, as explained above in: How do I set up 2FA?
I already use 2FA via Visma Connect but don't have access to my authenticator. What now?
You can request a recovery code via this form. Support will send you a backup code to log in again and reset your 2FA.
I log in via SSO. Does this requirement apply to me?
If you log in via SSO (Single Sign-On), authentication goes through your own identity provider, such as Microsoft Entra ID or Okta. In that case, we assume 2FA is already set up and enforced within your SSO environment. Visma Connect 2FA does not apply to you.
Do I have to use the Visma Authenticator?
No, you can also use the Google or Microsoft Authenticator.
